Autograph letter from F.W. Leftwich, London, to Charles Kean [manuscript], 1859 March 18.

Leftwich writes asking for 12 Hall Tickets for Kean's Farewell night at the Princess Theatre. He writes that he has enclosed a cheque for the tickets. Kean wrote a note on another leaf that reads: "Be good enough to tell this gentleman that I am not the Box keeper. I really think his sending me a cheque is most impertinent." Addressed from 9 Sydney Villas, St. Pauls Road, Camden Town.
